Airport

From Gatwick or Heathrow you can travel by public transport, hire a car or book a taxi. If coming by taxi we would recommend Greenlight taxis who are reliable and competitively priced!

By Car

If you are arriving by car, we have discounted parking vouchers for the local ANPR car parks. These currently cost £10.00 for 24 hours' parking, but will be going up to £12.00 on the 1st of April 2022. The nearest car park is Queeningate, 21 Lower Bridge Street, CT1 2LX, which is approximately a three minutes' walk away from the hotel. The vouchers are electronic so you can go directly to the car park and telephone the hotel to obtain the voucher. Alternatively, you can drive to the hotel, unload your luggage and organize the voucher. Please note that if you drive to the hotel, put our post code (CT1 2HA) into your SatNav and not our full address. If you enter our full address, the SatNav will direct you to Orange Street and you will not be able to drive to the front of the hotel.

By bus

National Express coaches run from Victoria to Canterbury bus station and from Dover to Canterbury if you are arriving on the ferry! Stage coach operate regular services throughout Kent.

By train

The High speed train from St Pancras takes just under an hour and arrives at Canterbury West.  Trains from Charing Cross also go to Canterbury West but take a little longer. Trains from Victoria go to Canterbury East. Both train stations are about a ten minute walk from the hotel.
